Introduction
------------
Ok, Bunky.... Now you have your "Wildcat BBS" program all set up and
about 2,000 files you want to add to it. Now the fun begins, you can
do a "DIR" command on each directory, then go thru and convert each
list so it will work with the "WCFILE" program that came with your
new "WILDCAT BBS" OR thru the use of my program called "FLIST"(on
MOST BBSs it is called "FLIST1.ZIP") you can run it on each directory
then convert that list easily thru "NULIST" to work with "WCFILE".
If you once had a "WILDCAT BBS" running, but took it off line and
are now ready to start it again, you may be saved from the dredge work.
If you had used either "FLOP" ,from Michael Conley, or "WCPRO" from
Mustang Software to create your "ALLFILES.TXT" file then you can use
that list in NULIST.
Registration
------------
NONE!
If you do use FLIST, then please register it. Otherwise this program
is my Christmas present to all Wildcat Sysops.
Installation and Operation
------------------------------
This is very simple, extract "NULIST.EXE" into your WILDCAT home
directory. If this is a first time installation, before you can use this
program you MUST do some prior work. I recommend using FLIST to create
a list of files that you want to add to your BBS. You will find all the
needed information on running FLIST in the FLIST.DOC, it really is very
easy and I don't want to bore you with rewriting those docs.
Ok, now you have created a list using FLIST that looks like this:
Created by FLIST V1.2a
Thu Dec 03 1992 at 08:01 pm
Directory of E:\BUS
100LETRS ZIP - 100 business letters in different forms.
ABOUTIME ZIP - Employee/Appointment scheduler.
BP56A ZIP - Timekeeping, Bookeeping Program 1 of 3
Copy this list into your WILDCAT home directory and run it thru "NULIST"
using the command NULIST MYLIST.TXT where MYLIST.TXT = name of your list.
NULIST will read this file, do all the necessary conversions for "WCFILE"
and create a file called "NEW.TXT", you will have a list that looks like:
100LETRS.ZIP 100 business letters in different forms.
ABOUTIME.ZIP Employee/Appointment scheduler.
BP56A.ZIP Timekeeping, Bookeeping Program 1 of 3
Type "WCFILE"(no quotes), select add files with a description file. At
the prompt for a name enter "NEW.TXT", now you will need to reset the
Description pointer to 14. Once that is done answer the rest of "WCFILE"s
prompts(especially the area to enter the files) and hit F-10.
Using with "WCPRO" or "FLOP" files
----------------------------------
This is very simple, extract "NULIST.EXE" into your WILDCAT home
directory. Be sure that your "Allfiles" list is in this same directory.
Now run it thru "NULIST" using the command NULIST MYLIST.TXT where
MYLIST.TXT = name of your list.
NULIST will read this file, do all the necessary conversions for "WCFILE"
and create a file called "NewX.Txt", where X = the number of file areas
NULIST found in your list. Each file area found will have its own NewX
file created. Run "WCFILE" when it asks for the description file to use
type in "NewX.Txt", where X = number,...New1.Txt, New2.Txt, etc. Change
the "Description" position pointer to 14, input the rest of the answers
and hit F-10.

Final Remarks
-------------
Many Thanks to my Wife, Evelyn, for her Friendship, Love, and Support in
every aspect of my life. Especially my addiction to computer keyboards.
I've made every effort to provide a safe and stable program, BUT...
If you find errors or additions, please let me know.
I'd appreciate bug reports, new feature requests, comments, performance
problems, constructive criticism, suggestions, additions.
